Intel Spark Exhibit @ CES 2022

Case Study

In a 4-month timeline, Jacob worked as a part of Intrepid's virtual art department to design abstract and compelling key visuals and animations using the Intel brand system to reinforce the "Altogether Wonderful" campaign at CES 2022. The work was showcased at CES 2022 displayed at Canaletto Ristorante through a custom-built LED display cube (both inside and outside). The cube represented the Intel Spark; at the time, a new installment to Intel’s brand and visual design language.

Working with outsourced 3D design partners and internal Maya and Houdini artists, Jacob played an integral role in the planning and development of the visuals. The team had to approach a primary challenge in creating the experience: working with 8K, unwrapped video. This meant that every design and visual that was displayed on the cube had to be rendered to the exact dimensions of how 4 square faces would display it. This had to be done both on the outside and inside; with am extra challenge to consider the floor and the ceiling of the inside experience.
